Since 2001, Paulo Freire Family Center has been a leading early education center in Chicago, IL, providing all-day, year-round programs. Your child will thrive in our engaging classroom environment, with extensive opportunities for hands-on projects and nature-based play. Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities to overcome poverty, embrace opportunities, and thrive across generations. We envision a future where all children, families, and seniors have equitable opportunities for success generation after generation.
What kinds of programs does Chicago Commons offer?
Chicago Commons provides individuals in under-resourced communities with life-changing services that enable them to break the cycle of poverty to live their fullest lives and thrive across generations. We offer programs such as early education (including Head Start and Early Head Start), senior care, adult day services, and family support services through its Family Hub.
